Art Portfolios

The first form of creative expression I ever adopted is one I remain adept in and passionate about to this day. Over the course of my life, I've refined my skills in a multitude of artistic methods. As a storyteller, my biggest goal in every piece is to convey some kind of veiled narrative which dedicated and eagle-eyed admirers can ultimately infer: from set-dressing to character expression, there is always a story to be gleaned. A more specialized focus of mine which goes hand-in-hand with my larger scale pieces is character and creature design. A few of these samples have been included below as well.

"Suicide Cat" Promo Art

A recent commission I did to promote a small LA production written and directed by comedian Gus Viveiros.

The Bosom (2023)

One of my latest pieces. A tale of youth and utterly failing to seize any of the bounty of opportunities offered by the city.

I Dream of Hawthorne High (2018)

My personal favorite piece. Though admittedly a bit sloppy formally (*Perspective? What the hell is that?), this one remains arguably my most personal and one of what I believe to be my finest examples of storytelling in my work.

My first ever digital piece. Some of the color and line work leaves a bit to be desired but for a freshman effort, I'm quite proud of it.

Just Call Me Angel of the Morning (2017)

20 Miles out from Primm (2023)

Gap Year (2021)

Up Late with Phil Crocker

Up Late with Phil Crocker is a visual novel released by my independent development studio, Purple Car, in 2021. The story spans the course of 40 years and follows the life of titular late night talk show host, Phil Crocker. As the story progresses, a conspiracy unravels revealing that Phil Crocker and the intent behind is comedic stylings may not be all they seem. Below are a few of the character designs I whipped up, all featured in-game.

Untitled L.A. Game

A new, currently untitled game is in active development at Purple Car and is slated to be revealed later this year! Though plot details are currently being kept internal, below is a peak at a few of the many colorful characters the game has to offer.

Creature Design

I also love drawing creatures: monsters, ghouls, beastly guys - you name it! Below are a few examples.
